‎The Infinities just released Creature Comforts, 1 of a few singles we recorded a while back! Featuring, most notably, the slick vocal, lyrical, and songwriting prowess of Yoichi Michael, the killer drumming and percussion of one Jeremy Tufano, and excellent mixing and production magic by the talented gents at Mirrortone Studios. I played a little git on this one too, I believe :)

Noter Recall (loosely based on “Simon”) is a simple visual music memory game and perfect pitch trainer I created using Javascript.

Once in “Perfect Pitch Mode”, you can no longer rely on visual memory alone. You will be training your ears to hear perfect and relative pitch with the aid of a tuned keyboard, improving your ability to recall any combination of notes from the 12-tone musical scale exactly as played. This is an incredibly important skill for musicians or anyone wanting to train their ears.

Once you can recall 8 notes or more consistently you are then IMHO, entering “Rain Man” territory.

And if you can do it in Perfect Pitch Mode, you might be a god.

Compatibility: This web app is compatible with the latest versions of Chrome, Safari (version 6+ only), Firefox, and iPhone (Safari-mobile iOS 6 only). Google Maps or Noter Recall: I think you know what you gotta do.

P.S. Various updates, including a sleeker UI, a guitar visualizer, more sound sources, free-play mode, subway-friendly mode, features like keeping your score and competing against friends, and development into a native iPhone/iPad app are still to come! I’ll keep ya posted. :)
