Nate's passion for sound began with music at age 5, picking out melodies from records and films at the piano. A mostly self-taught musician in early life, Nate was later accepted to the Berklee College of Music. He earned a degree in Professional Music, focusing his studies on guitar and piano performance, music production, film scoring, composition, and music education. Nate then continued his education, earning a Master's Certificate in Music Production & Technology from Berklee.
Nate has since been working as an audio editor & mixer for film and tv, a composer for film, ads, and web media, a performing keyboardist, guitarist, and bassist, and a music teacher. He is currently mixing, composing, and teaching music lessons in NYC. When not working on music or audio, Nate spends his free time studying web development and game programming, and playing ice hockey and soccer.
Although his studio is based in Brooklyn, Nate often works remotely. He commutes to different boroughs for music lessons and studio work, and delivers audio mixes and compositions via remote collaborations with producers. His audio mixing / sound design rates are hourly and competitive. Composing rates are negotiable based on budget, the complexity of the musical arrangement, and the length of the composition. Music lesson rates can also vary. For detailed rates and all other inquiries please contact Nate via the form below.
